The party for which the last two Saturdays before the race has always been in La Garriga, in order that the town where the Vallès half turns to go back to Granollers has the prominence it deserves. Not surprisingly, one of the most beautiful parts of the route of the Half Marathon is over the Paseo de la Garriga, one of the most important avenues of Catalan Modernism.

The medium is not only sport but also to be culture, and high flying. So a few days before the race is a concert program with participation of music schools in Granollers, the openness and Garriga, the towns where the race runs. The concert is held every year in sincerity.

The race of giants is one of the most unusual competitions that have never seen. The day before half the evening, dozens of pairs of giants, some of about 4 feet high, reached the villages around Granollers climb the road to see which one is able to reach the goal before . A sporting event and very popular it is worth to keep!
